Congratulations to Dean Armstrong on receiving the National Inclusive Education Award (National Inclusive Teacher of the Year).
The National Inclusive Education Award – Inclusive Teacher of the Year, presented by Inclusion Saskatchewan in partnership with Inclusion Canada, recognizes teachers who exemplify the core values of inclusive education through innovation, student-centered practice, and an unwavering commitment to ensuring that every learner belongs. The award celebrates teachers who create classrooms where students of all abilities are welcomed, valued, and supported to reach their fullest potential alongside their peers. Receiving this honour is a recognition not only of excellence in teaching, but of a belief that education is strongest when compassion, belonging, and opportunity are extended to every student.
Dean was nominated by several Sask DLC families for his dedication to creating inclusive learning environments and supporting student success. We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved achievement and the positive impact Dean continues to make on students and families.
Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre provides Kindergarten to Grade 12 courses to Saskatchewan students who choose to study online. We empower students and families to choose the learning environment that works best for them, while supporting their graduation plan.
